Pakistani doctors

Pakistan is a federal parliamentary republic consisting of four provinces and four federal territories. It is an ethnically and linguistically diverse country, with a similar variation in its geography and wildlife. A regional and middle power, Pakistan has the fourth largest standing armed forces in the world and is also a nuclear power as well as a declared nuclear weapons state, being the only nation in the Muslim world, and the second in South Asia, to have that status. It has a semi-industrialised economy with a well-integrated agriculture sector, her economy is the 26th largest in the world in terms of purchasing power and 45th largest in terms of nominal GDP and is also characterised among the emerging and growth-leading economies of the world.

Pakistan has become the largest exporter of young doctors to Britain. More than at any time in the past, there is a huge surge in the number of Pakistani medical graduates coming and settling in the UK. The number of doctors migrating to the UK is expected to see further increases as their dissatisfaction within Pakistan grows, as demonstrated recently by the nationwide strikes of young doctors, particularly in Punjab. The doctors have different organisations such as the Association of Pakistani Physician & Surgeons (APPS) in the UK,

Pakistani Medical Association (PMA) and various other organisations show their support by helping them to  to get the visa and aid them to settle their feet in the UK. Due to number of personal and political reasons a number of Pakistani doctors relocate to different parts of the world. The United Kingdom is one of the most popular places for the professionals to relocate as both social and financial security and a better working life is achievable. Pakistani doctors are considerded as very hard working and clinically skilled in the UK and are placed in very high positions in most of the hospitals. More than at any point in time in the past, there is a huge surge in the number of Pakistani medical graduates coming and settling in the UK where they are getting good jobs as Pakistani doctors enjoy good reputation and its easy for newcomers to settle easily due to good community connections.
